Today the programme is making its second call for projects under the community arts and events theme.  Communities and organisations are invited to put forward projects that will deliver village events within the Central Warwickshire Villages area. The funding is available to any organisation whose project will directly benefit these communities and that meets the requirements outlined in the LDS.

The programme has made its first call for projects under the community growing theme at the LEADER Forum meeting on the 15th December. Communities and organisations are invited to put forward projects that will deliver community based allotment or community gardening projects within the villages of the Central Warwickshire. The funding is available to any organisation whose project will directly benefit these communities and that meets the requirements outlined in the LDS.

The Local Action Group (LAG) invites residents and community and parish groups who live or work in rural parts of Warwick District and Rugby Borough to participate in the LEADER Forum, which will explain the Central Warwickshire Villages LEADER programme. This aims to support activities and projects that bring together people in rural parishes and communities and promote the use of services in rural areas. It will do this by developing projects on the themes of growing, arts and events and projects that link villagers with rural industries.
