New Applicant Workshop - Wed 29th March

Thinking about applying for Leader funding?

The Programme Team would like to invite you along to an informal workshop for new applicants @ Garden Organic on Wednesday 29th February 10am - 12pm. This will be an informal session providing general advice and tips on filling in the application form.

We will also be providing One to One Support Sessions @ Garden Organic on Friday 2nd March 9.30 - 4.30pm providing an opportunity to look in detail at your individual project and tailoring your application form.

     The free of charge walk will cover various aspects of the Farm to include:

  • The Big Picture Show is a service enabling you to programme films in your local village halls or other suitable community venue, with top range technical equipment and support. We create and regularly update an online menu of available films - from popular family favourites to blockbusters, from screen classics to indie and foreign films - or simply choose any film and, provided screening rights are available, we’ll get it sorted!

  • The Local Action Group is pleased to announce the next round of calls for applications.

    The next call deadlines are as follows:

    Friday 8th July 2011 - This deadline is for Expressions of Interest or Full Applications for projects related to any of the 3 Central Warwickshire Villages LEADER programme themes of Community Growing, Community Arts and Linking Land Based Industries.   • The Church Lawford Players have secured three years of LEADER funding to set up and establish a new singing group. 

    The project entitled ‘Lets Sing’ encourages all members of the community to come along and have a go, regardless of ability.They also hold a school holiday singing club for children and young people.  A vocal coach supports the group, and they are steadily increasing their numbers from across several villages around their hub.

  • Get Growing! is a fantastic LEADER funded service project which aims to brings together people in the rural parishes of Warwick District and Rugby Borough by providing support and resources for community food growing initiatives in their location. Building a sense of community by supporting people to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

    Get Growing! can help your community to grow, by providing gardening support and advice, training courses, growing equipment, publicity materials and resources you need, up to the value of approximately £3000.
